Alan W. Straub, 65, of Dayton, passed away May 26, 2015.
He was born March 8, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Vernon and Eleanor (Roush) Straub.
He was a graduate of Wilbur Wright High School. He attended Wright State University. He retired from Wright Patt as a civilian engineer.
Alan is survived by his wife of 20 years, Susan Straub; 2 daughters, Elizabeth (Kyle) Topping, Janelle (Jesse) Cassel; 2 sons of Susan, Russell (Enjie) Hall, Richard (Sarah) Hall; 10 grandchildren, Katy, Alex, Bella, Justina, Gabriel, Jayden, Shelby, Eleanor, Riley, Jillian; brother, Richard Straub; great aunt, Janet Schaffer; and several cousins, nephews, nieces and special friends.
A visitation will be held Monday, June 1, 2015 from 9:30am until 10:30am service time at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, OH.
