Aj "Squirt" Jones

AJ (Squirt) Jones-Jennings, age 34, passed away unexpectedly on January 15, 2022. He was a lifelong resident of Dayton, a graduate of Colonel White High School and an employee of Wing Stop.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Jennings, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Armistice and Pearline Jennings; maternal grandparents, D.L. and Ada Mae Trigg; and Barbara Brown.

Those left to cherish Squirt's memory are his loving and devoted mother, Joannie Jennings; brothers, Rodney Jones, Larry (Jasmine) Blake, and Alvin Jr.; sisters, Althea, Lettia and Sharita; special cousins, Michael Rhodes, Ada-Princess Jones, Brittany Holt, Justin Holt, Ronald Austin, Donald Austin, and April Austin; Diva Aunts, Sandy Jones, Stephanie Olinger, Penny Copp and Dorothea Jones; and Uncles, Jimmy 'Jam' Jones, Doug (Marion) Trigg, Ernest (Miss Jerry) Letlow, and Ricky Trigg. His memory will be cherished by many relatives in Detroit MI, and by other loving nieces, especially Aaliyah and Rod'Janay; nephews, especially Lil Rodney and Lil Larry, other relatives, and friends. Squirt loved his family, and he will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where a funeral service will begin at 3:00pm.
