Adrian Puttin

After giving so much to so many that loved him, Adrian G. Puttin, Sr., of Xenia, went home to be with God and loved ones on August 4, 2004. He was born March 21, 1929 in Oskaloosa, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his mother & father and a sister. Adrian left us after experiencing complications due to severe health. He leaves a loving wife of 48 years, Marie; 8 children Susan Heggan, Linda Floyd, Michael Puttin, Lorraine (Alan) Lee, Diane (Randy) Merlock, Adrian (Mary Lou) Puttin, Jr., Otto (Erica) Puttin and William (Karan) Puttin; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren as well as 3 brothers and 1 sister. Adrian served with pride in the United States Navy, after which time he went on to receive numerous accomodations for recognition of job performances. He was a member of the DAV as well as the VFW. He will be forever loved and missed. Funeral services 2 P.M., Sat., Aug. 7, 2004 at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Duane Malloy officiating. Visitation will be Saturday for 1 hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be held at Dayton National Cemetery at a later date at the convenience of the family.
