Adeline Mcelroy

Adeline V. McElroy, age 93, of Huber Heights, passed away October 3, 2023. She was born April 21, 1930 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to the late Julius and Clara Hendrickson. In addition to her parents, Adeline was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Ray Edward Andrew; and brothers: Embert and Gerald Hendrickson.

Adeline is survived by her daughter, Jan Andrew; son, Ed Loughrea; grandsons: Evan Andrew (Liz) and Jordan Andrew (Jessica); great-grandchildren: Owen, Noah, Kinley, Easton, Jensen and Joanna; and sister, Sharon Olsen.

Adeline graduated from St. Cloud State and became a 4th grade teacher. After teaching, she was a stay at home mom and then went to work in Property Management. She was an active member at the Senior Center in Huber Heights and St. Matthews Church. Adeline loved her family and being with them. She was a very sweet and kind woman, and always a supportive mother.
