Adam James-Paul Gallagher, age 34 of West Sacramento, California, formerly of Dayton, Ohio, passed away October 26, 2020. He was born January 7, 1986 at WPAFB, Ohio to Paul and Patty Gallagher, who both survive. Adam was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Charles Gallagher and James Adkins. Adam grew up in England and Germany; he loved his time there and was fluent in German.
In addition to his parents, Adam is survived by his son, Easten James-Paul Gallagher, and his mother, Angela; sisters: Dana Cross (James) and Kara Hawkins (Jeremy); grandmothers: Sandra Gallagher and Lynn Adkins; nieces and nephews: Noah, Jacob, James, Annalynn, Logan and Lily; many other relatives and friends.
Adam was the president of the California Truckers Association and was an employee with Devine Intermodal. Adam loved his family, but most of all, was a devoted father to Easten; he enjoyed hiking, camping, shooting his bow and arrows, loved watching movies, traveling; and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. Adam had an amazingly funny sense of humor, was a very creative story-teller and loved weird foods.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1-3 pm on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 3:00 pm.
