Ada R. Smith, age 87 of Xenia, OH passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 at her home. She was born May 13, 1933 in Hyden, Kentucky to Lewis and Emma (Littles) Howard. Ada married Elbert Smith on March 1, 1952 in Dayton, OH.
Ada retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. She enjoyed working in the yard, gardening, planting flowers and cleaning. Ada was a loving wife, mother and friend who will be dearly missed.
Ada is survived by her husband of 69 years, Elbert; two Daughters, Lisa Smith and Lois (Wayne) McFarland; many grand children and great grandchildren; a brother; a close family friend, Susan Smith; and many other loving family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; and several brothers and sisters.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Ada will be laid to rest following the services at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, OH.
