PERRY, Acie Allen, age 43, of Beavercreek, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2009 due to a sudden illness. Born July 8, 1965 in Oakland, CA to Charles and Jean Ann Perry; he was raised in Pensacola, FL and graduated from Tate High School. He attended the University of West Florida for 2 years. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service as an Intelligence Specialist where he was awarded 23 service medals, including Kuwait Liberation Medal, and Joint Service Commendation Medal. He was Commander of the VFW Post 8312 in Beavercreek. He was employed by General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems as a Security Specialist and recently as an Intelligence Analyst. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Ann Perry; and sister, Toyya Perry. He is survived by his daughter, Kylie Perry; father, Acie Perry; sister, Kimeko Perry; grandmother, Verna Kemp; fiancée, Becky Pack and her daughters, Brittany and Christina Behme; and numerous other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Friday, June 19, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. The family will receive friends from 12 PM until the time of service. VFW services will follow the memorial service. Memorial donations may be made to the VFW Post 8312 in Beavercreek, OH in support of the family.
