A.C. Nickell

A.C. Nickell, age 68 of Huber Heights, passed away Friday, November 5, 2010. He was born August 28, 1942 in Morgan County, KY to the late Andy and Katherine Nickell. In addition to his parents, A.C. was preceded in death by his brother-in-law and dear friend, Stanley Smith.

A.C. is survived by his wife of 44 years, Linda; 3 sons: Joseph (Nicole) Nickell, Matthew Nickell and Michael Nickell; 4 grandchildren: Nathan, Sydney, Taylor and Shelby; brother, Clayton (Sharon) Nickell; sisters: Fern Smith and Helen (Jim) Murray; many nieces, nephews and friends.

A.C. was an employee for 20 years at Dayton Press, was owner / operator of A.W. Sandblasting for 10 years and was a very accomplished artist. He spent many years coaching little league baseball at Fearing Field in Huber Heights.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday. Burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in A.C.'s memory to The Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Place, Dayton, Ohio 45420.
