Aaron P. Kaufman, born on March 13, 1982, in Rhinebeck, New York, left this world unexpectedly on March 29, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio, leaving behind a legacy marked by his humor, intelligence, generosity, and kind heart. His vibrant personality touched the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Aaron was a man of many talents and passions. He found joy in music, video games, playing the bass guitar, and writing songs for his band, Craver, during his time in New York. His love for technology was expressed through his enthusiasm for building computers. He was not only an avid fan of music and technology but also a dedicated sports enthusiast, who held a special affection for the Green Bay Packers.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Lily Hackett; his life partner, Penny Davis; his sister, Melissa Kaufman; and former brother-in-law, Brian Lehmann. He cherished his role as an uncle to his nieces and nephew—Kierra Kaufman, Kyle Kaufman, Kaitlyn Kaufman, and Leah Kaufman. He also leaves behind an aunt, several cousins, and numerous friends in Dayton and upstate New York. Aaron's household included his two adored cats, Nimbus and Mayhem, and his loyal dog, Basil, who provided companionship and joy during his life.

Aaron was preceded in death by his father, Raoul P. Feris; his mother, Marlene Kaufman; and his two late pets, Echo the cat and Tiberius his beloved dog.

As we remember Aaron P. Kaufman, it is clear that his contributions to the lives around him were profound. He left an indelible mark that will continue to resonate through the memories shared by his family and friends. His spirit and laughter will be remembered, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those he loved and who loved him in return.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
