A. Dale Jordan
Age 60 of Dayton passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 15, 2011, at his home.
Dale was preceded in death by his wife of 22 years, Linda Sue Melanson; his mother, Ruby R. Jordan; brother, James E. Jordan; sister, Avery B. Brown; and by his daughter, Melanie R. Jordan.
Dale is survived by one daughter, Tina Brumbaugh; one step-son, Tony Shanks; nine grandchildren, Tyler, Savanah, Amanda, Rachel, Alix, Annie, Ashlynn, Jeremy & Hayla; five siblings, Chloeann Jordan, Claudia Jordan, Sarah Jordan, Steven Jordan & Sally Schmidt; and by numerous nieces & nephews.
Dale was Owner & President of Security Service Center. He will be remembered as an "Island Unto Himself" and was a permanent "member" of Friday's where he possessed his own bar stool.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday (9/19) at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor Mark McVey officiating. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
