Albert Wayne Belcher, age 72, of Eaton, passed away May 22, 2021. He was born February 24, 1949 in Kegley, West Virginia to the late Albert and Arlene Belcher.
Wayne is survived by his children: Sheri Bartrum (Jerald), Steven Belcher (Crystal), Sarah Testruth (Jeromy), Daniel Belcher (Leelah) and Annie Belcher; grandchildren: Jerald "Cory", Cydney, Taylor, Olive, Dexter and one on the way; sister, Joyce Estepp; and brother, Randy Belcher.
Wayne was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a Police Officer for the last 34 years, working for Jefferson Township, Vandalia, Good Samaritan Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital North. Wayne was a member of the F.O.P. and West Carrollton Lodge # 737 F.&A.M., and was an ordained minister. Wayne was a very supportive person who gave great advice; he had a calming effect on those around him. He was funny and silly and had a very contagious laugh. Wayne was a proud father who loved his children and made sure that they lived a happy life. He was a protective father and brother who will be missed.
Visitation will be held from 1-3 pm on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm.
