Walt Theodore

Walt Theodore, age 67 of Union, passed away October 2, 2020. He was born January 6, 1953 in Middletown, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Theodore; father-in-law, Jim Brown, Sr.; sisters-in-law: Barb Knight and Mary Knoth.

Walt is survived by his wife of 28 years, Janet Theodore; son, Joe Smedley (Casie Madden); mother, Marie Theodore; mother-in-law, Peggy Brown; brother, Roger Theodore (Pam); sister, Nancy Oszakiewski (Dennis); sisters-in-law: Joy Tiley (Ken), Kay Conway (Tom), Pat Burton, Ann Kucharski (Mike) and Carol Howard (Mark); brother-in-law, Jim Brown, Jr. (Patti); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Walt "Wally the Bud man" was a devoted husband and raised one great son. He was a loving son, brother and uncle. Walt worked at Heidelberg Distributors and retired from there after 37 years of service. He was very proud to be a "Bud man."

Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 pm on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm. Burial to follow at Willow View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Walt's memory to any cancer research charity of your choice.
