Thomas Patrick Kelley

Thomas Patrick Kelley, age 76 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born March 30, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Clifford and Helen Kelley.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Marlene Walling and grandchild Naomi Sue Kelley.

Thomas was an avid woodworker, carpenter, fisherman, arborist and meticulous gardener. He was actively involved in the Ancient Order of Hibernians, treasurer of the Dayton Celtic Festival and avid supporter of the Celtic Academy of Irish Dance.

He was retired from the AT&T Dublin Training facility as an instructor and course developer.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 56 years, Susan Schulke Kelley; sons, Thomas Patrick (Lori) Kelley, Sean (Jessica) Kelley; daughter, Bridget (Matt) Breden; brother, Michael Kelley; sisters, Patricia Bergen, Karen (Patrick) O'Rourke; grandchildren, Thomas Kelley, Shannon Kelley, Liam Kelley, Sean Kelley, Colin Kelley, Casey Kelley, Matthew Breden, Alexia Breden, Sadira Glass. He is also survived by numerous family and friends especially those he came to know through his association with various Irish organizations.

Funeral Service will be held on February 8, 2019 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Visitation will be February 7, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432.
Immediately following interment at Calvary Cemetery, the family will gather at Columbian Hall, 4704 Burkhardt Ave. Dayton, OH 45403 for a celebration of life.
