Ronald C. Phillips, 72, of Kettering, passed away on December 27, 2016.
He was born on March 1, 1944 to the late Harold and Inez (Steinbarger) Phillips in Dayton, OH.
Ronald is survived by his loving children, Nazareth "Zita" (Gary) Moore, Ronald Phillips II (Julie), George Phillips (Shawna), Larry Phillips (Janine), and Anita (Scott) Highland; mother of his children, Nazareth Marin; grandchildren, Ashley, Andrew, Cody (Kelcey), Jacob, Taylor, Justin (Destiny), Corey, Kyle, Abigail, Halie, Alex, Madison, and Lucas; great grandchildren, Marley, Mason, Myra, Myles, Jayce, and Summer; siblings, Bud, Larry (Mary), Gary (Carolyn), Shirley, and Cathy, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Phillips.
Ron was an avid Browns fan 'til the end and loved UD basketball.
A visitation will be held Monday, January 2, 2017 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm with a funeral service following at 12:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439
