Ron Enderle, age 72 of Kettering, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018 at his home. He was born October 28, 1946 in Mansfield, Ohio to the late John and Catherine (Schwartz) Enderle.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his son, Craig Enderle and brother, Michael Enderle.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 52 years, Kathy (Pendleton) Enderle; daughters, Bobbi Kay (Pete) Yarchak and Angela Marie (Butch) Werley; grandchildren, Skyler and Xackary; great granddaughter, Addison and brothers, Fred (Rita) Enderle and Tom (Bonnie) Enderle as well as many other family members and his dear friends at the Dairy Dreem.
Ron was a 1964 graduate of Madison Senior High School in Mansfield, OH. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and honorable served 2 tours of duty back to back as a Vietnam veteran with a station appointment in Spain. Upon his return to the states he enrolled in Wright State University to begin his career in systems engineering and completed his Master's in Business at University of Dayton. Ron had the privilege of being employed with several Dayton area businesses including NDM Corporation, Lytton Industries and Eastman Kodak/Diconix, retiring in 2004. Most recently Ron was the beloved owner of Dixie Dairy Dreem since 2005 and enjoyed continuing to serve the community he loved. Ron was a member of Walnut Grove Country Club and was Catholic by faith. He mentored many young people through his business, assisting with homework, advice and an attentive ear. Ron loved playing golf, woodworking and reading as he was a life-long student. He will always be remembered as a patient man with many answers who was willing to lend a hand as well as solid advice.
Family will receive guests from 4:00-6:00 pm Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering. Guests will then be invited to gather at the Dairy Dreem for a memorial vigil. Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:00 am Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at St. Charles Borromeo, Kettering with procession to Dayton National Cemetery for burial and military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at 4370 Glendale Milford Rd, Blue Ash, OH 45242.
