Nancy Elizabeth Mountjoy

Nancy Elizabeth Mountjoy, age 81 of Beavercreek, passed away Monday, August 2, 2021. She was born October 25, 1939 in Abbingdon, Virginia, the daughter of Taft and Maggie Bailey.

Nancy was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be remembered for her love of family and being a mother to all who knew her. She was kind, generous and had many close friends. She was a devout Christian who was always willing to help others. Nancy enjoyed gardening and working in her yard.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Tom Mountjoy; her parents; sister, Elaine Wynkoop and granddaughter, Abbie Karl.

Nancy is survived by her four daughters,Vicki (David) Stumpff, Jodi (Mike Zukoski) Snyder, Terri Mountjoy and Traci Estep; grandchildren, Joseph Karl, Michael (Lindsey) Stumpff, Casey (Chelsea Huff) Snyder, Monica (Scott) Spatny, Bailey Draughn, Olivia Draughn and Hannah Fleshman; great grandson, Keenan Draughn; sister, Dixie Slay and many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, August 9, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a funeral service at 1:00 pm at Newcomer - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). She will be laid to rest at Beaver Cemetery immediately following the service.
