Vernon Leo Fuller, age 87 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Soin Medical Center. He was born August 20, 1930 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Wade and Ethel Fuller.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Shirley A Fuller; step-daughter, Darlene I Armitage; brother, Wade C Fuller, Jr.; sisters, Clara M Hall, and Geraldine Fuller.
Vernon enjoyed working in his yard. He was a skilled craftsman and loved gardening, reading and family activities. He is a veteran of the US Marine Corps serving in Europe and the parts of Asia.
Vernon is survived by his sisters, Linda S (Larry R) Bourdon and Shirley J Berry; step-daughters, Deborah S (Steve) Gambrell, Diana L (Bruce) Blair, Dawn M (Jose') Anguiano, Deanna J (Larry) Baldwin; step-son, David E (Valerie) Wittman; 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Special thank you to Gordon & Vickie Fuller and the Medical staff in the ICU unit of Soin Medical Center.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Family will receive friends Wednesday, 11 am until time of service. Interment Dayton National Cemetery.
