Larry D. Williams, 76, of Xenia, passed away March 16, 2017 at Kettering Hospital after a two month battle. He was born December 25, 1940 in McDermott, Ohio.
Larry served our country before and during the Vietnam War. He was listed as a Green Beret in the Special Forces. During his services he received several medals.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 38 years, Sharon L. William; son, Shane D. Gibson; daughter, Shannon M. Gibson; siblings, Evelyn (Ray) Anderson, Bonnie Eads, Gary (Joyce) Shelpman; grandchildren, Randy Gibson, Lexi Gibson, Austin Gibson, Allen Corvin and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Selma Shelpman; granddaughter, Sabrini Gibson-Corvin.
