Joyce Ann Lemke

Joyce Ann Lemke, age 76 of Tipp City, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2019. Joyce was born in Bellbrook, Ohio to the late Reba and Robert Burns. She graduated from Bellbrook High School in 1960. Joyce was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time outdoors. She would go camping and fishing in her free time. She retired from Kettering Hospital after many years of dedicated service. Joyce was a kind, caring, and compassionate woman. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her partner of 30 years, Jean Marshall; and brothers, Robert E. Burns and Michael Burns.

Joyce leaves to cherish her memory, brother, Jim (Ruth) Burns; step-sons, Brad Getsfred and Anthony Getsfred; sisters-in-law, Helene Burns and Shirley Burns-Davis; and several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Newcomer North Chapel from 10:30am - 11:30am. Service to follow at 11:30am. Burial at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joyce's memory to the American Kidney Foundation.
