Frances Jarvis

June 16, 1920 — August 17, 2016

JARVIS, Frances A., age 96, a long time resident of Riverside, Ohio, went to be with the Lord in the full triumph of Christian faith on Wednesday, August 17, 2016.

Henceforth there is laid up for her a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give her at that day: and not to her only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. (KJV: 2 Timothy 4:8)

Frances was born on June 16, 1920 in Junction City, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, CMSgt (USAF Ret.) William L. Jarvis Sr.; grandson, Dorian L. Jarvis; sisters, Virginia A. Morris and Sodonia R. Luckie, and brothers, Donald Hankins and Reyes Martinez.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Celia Jarvis of Beavercreek, Ohio; sons, Joseph (Esther) Daveiga of Westerville, Ohio, William (Sheila) Jarvis Jr. of Trotwood, Ohio, Brian Jarvis (Connie O'Brien) of Beavercreek, Ohio, and Martin (Kim) Jarvis Sr. of Dayton, Ohio; her grandchildren, Sean (Melisa) Daveiga, Shasta Criddell, Wesley Hawkins, William (Tamara) Jarvis III, Shadon Downing, Martin Jarvis Jr., and Charis Jarvis; her great grandchildren, Christian Daveiga, Je'La Daveiga, Charlotte Jones, Antonio Jones, Jestin Kuder, Cameron Criddell, Karrington Criddell, Chrissy Jewett Jarvis, William Jarvis IV, Deven Jarvis, and Aden Jarvis; her brothers, Frank (Peggy) Martinez and Burdelle Hankins; her sisters, Mary Mines, Marie Hankins, and Ardelle Green, and many dear nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was an avid bowler and an active member of the Bethel Christian Assembly of God Church in Dayton, Ohio for the past 40 years.

She loved and was devoted to her family and set an example that all her children followed. She was an inspiration to all of us and was loved and cherished by family, friends, and a host of brothers and sisters in the Lord. She will be dearly missed.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (KJV: Revelations 21:4)
