Elaine Chappell

Elaine Chappell, age 68, of Celina, formerly of Dayton, Ohio, passed away October 18, 2021. She was born October 20, 1952 in Dayton to the late Robert and Juanita Wolf.

Elaine is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ronnie Chappell; children: Rhonda Vest (Bryan), Robert Chappell (Heather) and Bryan Chappell (Heather); grandchildren: Ronnie Lee Chappell, Destanie Wombold, Brieanna Vest, Macy Chappell, Brennen Chappell, Allen Vest, Gwendolyn Chappell and Sammy Chappell; and great-grandchildren: Cayden, Covy, Payton, Walker and Michael.

Elaine worked at the Montgomery County Animal Shelter, the Greater Dayton Humane Society and was a former co-owner of Hechts Landing General Store. She was president of Wayne Pee-Wee Football. Elaine loved spending time in Gatlinburg, fishing, playing cards, planting flowers and spending time with her family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12-1 pm on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
