David E. Ishman Sr.

David E. Ishman Sr., age 75, passed away August 17, 2016 in Dayton, Ohio. He was born to the late Silas and Geraldine Ishman on August 20, 1940 in Kingston, West Virginia. David loved to fish, hunt, watch cowboys on TV and spend time with his kids. He retired from Dayton Public Schools with 42 years of service. David is survived by his kids Tina L. Ishman, David Ishman Jr., Tracy Price, Jamey (Shatania) Ishman; 12 grandkids and sister Shirley Todd. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Deon Ishman; former wife of 23 years, Jeanette Ishman; brothers John Ishman Sr. and Cletis Ishman. A visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 11am-12pm with a funeral service to follow at 12pm. Burial will take place at West Memory Gardens.
