Charles E. Thompson

Charles E. Thompson Jr., 78, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017 with his loving family and friends by his side. Charles was born August 31, 1938 in Dayton, OH to Charles and Sarah Thompson, Sr. Charles was a devoted husband of 54 years to Beulah T. Thompson.

Charles was a member of the central congregation of Jehovah Witnesses. He loved to talk to people about God, loved to take pictures, enjoyed spending time with his family, especially spending time with his great grandson Braiden. He also loved to laugh, enjoyed exercising and loved a good meal. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed.

Charles is survived by his wife; his children Rachel E. (Tony Watson) Thompson and Reuben T. Thompson, Sr.; grandchildren Kevin, Rachel, Rayte'a and Reuben Jr.; great grandchild Braiden; brother Michael A. (Maedea) Thompson; nephews Michael Jr., Marcus, niece Maechelle; and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother William D. Thompson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday March 4, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2700 North Gettysburg Avenue, Dayton OH 45406. A visitation will be held one hour prior at the Kingdom Hall from 10:00-11:00am. The family has chosen cremation as the final disposition for Charles.
