Carol Sue Kuntz

Carol Sue Kuntz (Garwood), age 78, of Xenia, passed away March 3, 2017. She was born October 27, 1938 in Marion, OH, the daughter of Harold and Goldie (Colegrove) Garwood, both of whom preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her beloved sister, Diane (Garwood) Guisinger. She is survived by her son, Douglas (Marie) Kuntz; daughter, Karen (Russell) Shelley; grandchildren, Heather (Ryan) Roe, Kellie Gerber, Brittany Shelley, Sophia Kuntz, Chad (Sarah) Shelley; great grandchildren, Brooklyn Roe, Aubree Esprit, Bentley Shelley, Grace Shelley; brother in law, Carl (Gus) Guisinger; nephews, Randy Guisinger, Brad Guisinger, Matt (Trice) Guisinger; and special loving friends, Mabel and Jimmy Sullivan. She is retired from Time Warner Cable. Her favorite hobbies were reading, watching football and baseball and NASCAR. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 9:30-10:30am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, where funeral services will begin at 10:30am. Burial will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery, 501 West McCreight Ave, Springfield, OH 45504. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Carol's name to the Dayton Hospice Foundation. And a special thanks to Bevin Fields, of Hospice, for making Carol's journey to heaven a peaceful one.
