Anthony O. Hockett

Anthony O. Hockett, age 42 of Dayton, passed away after a lengthy illness on May 4, 2018. He was born March 27, 1976 in Dayton to his mother, Brenda Hockett and his late father, Nathaniel Hockett. In addition to his father, Anthony was preceded in death by his grandmother, Joan Holloway; grandfather, Otis Holloway and great-grandmother, Hattie Cunningham.

He is survived by his wife, Marlena Hockett; son, Gregory Henley; daughters, Kyerra Collins and Paige Collins; mother and step-father, Brenda & Ron Boggs; grandchildren, Kayden and Kloie Collins; aunt, Deborah Holloway; cousins, Mark Holloway, Michael Holloway, Anthony Otis, Tatiana Rae'; good friend, Kimberly Craighead and numerous other extended family and friends.

Family will receive friends from 1-1:40 PM on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Woodland Mausoleum, 118 Woodland Ave., Dayton, OH 45409 where a funeral service will begin at 1:40 PM until 2 PM. Entombment will immediately follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to Donate Life Ohio, 246 N. High St., Columbus, OH 43215, in Anthony's memory.
