Leo August

Leo Andrew August Jr., age 67 of Kettering, passed away Friday, May 10, 2024. He was born November 1, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Leo Sr. and Elizabeth August. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his two sisters, Jeannie Prestwood and Toni Sargent and many other loved ones.

Leo is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Darla August; two sons, Josh (Ida) August and Justin August; grandchildren, Hannah, Matthew, Andrew, Emma, Matthew, Alyssa, and Chelsie; brother, Jerry August; sister Joan Lowe. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Leo graduated from Fairmont West High School. He enjoyed classic cars, fishing, camping, and gardening. The most important thing to Leo was his family and spending quality time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He is well loved and will be deeply missed.
