John Earl Johnston passed away peacefully on January-18-2024 at the age of 63 from a long and courageous battle with cancer. John was born in Geneva, New York on September 24, 1960.
He later settled in Dayton, Ohio where he lived out his life with his family and friends. He was the proud business owner of Safe Tech of Dayton, and he loved helping and serving his customers with his safe technician skills and knowledge. John had a smile that would light up a room and a laugh that would brighten your day. He was a lover of nature. He enjoyed hiking, fishing and woodworking, but most importantly, he loved spending time with his family. He touched so many hearts down here on earth, and those who knew him were blessed to have him in their lives.
John is preceded in death by his loving parents Thomas Noel Johnston and Ida Elizabeth Johnston, and his brother Tim "T.J" Eugene Johnston.
John is survived by his beloved Wife Kelly Marie Johnston, his two children Sarah (Fred) Judson, Seth (Madison) Johnston, two grandchildren Caden and Brooklyn, his siblings Dave (Princess) Johnston, Alice Richards, Angie Johnston Jones, Robert (Keiko) Johnston, Rick (Janin) Johnston, Tom (Marie) Johnston, Michael (Francine) Parisi, numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and life-long friends Charles Patton and Mehdi Zahedi.
