Thomas Joseph Maloney Sr., 84, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2024. Loving father of Mathew Frank (Diane) Maloney, Jim (Sharon) Maloney, Linda (Ryan) Ankney, Tom (Tracy) Maloney Jr., and Bill Isaacs, cherished grandfather of Brian Maloney, Maeve Maloney, Josh Maloney, Sarah Maloney, Kelcey (Cody) Moore, Morgan (Andrew) Dyer, Shelby (Zach) Evans, Hayden (Kiki) Maloney, Hunter (Jojo) Maloney, Jake Maloney, Heather (Adolfo) Tornichio, Alex Isaacs and Sydney Isaacs, adored great grandfather of Marley, Mason, Myles, Maxwell, Moses, Silas, Saige, Zachary, Hazel and Hunter Jr. Tom is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his first wife Janis (nee Giffin) Maloney; his second wife Carolyn (nee McFarland) Maloney; parents Charles and Margaret Maloney and siblings Mathew Francis Maloney, John Maloney, Ann Waller and Charlie Maloney.
Tom was born on January 24, 1939 in Kettering, Ohio. He joined the United States Army at the age of 18, proudly served in Germany for most of his 3 years prior to being honorably discharged. After his discharge he raised his family in Beavercreek, Ohio. He was a member of Beaver United Church of Christ. He was also a 57 year friend of Bill W. He retired from General Motors after 30 years and was a Union Representative of the local IUE 801.
Tom loved his family more than anything else and enjoyed spending his time chasing around the kids, grand kids and great grand kids at thousands of sporting events. He was a proud caregiver to his entire family. He will be so very missed by those that love him.
