Alexa Flemming O'Neal

Alexa Flemming O'Neal, age 83, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on December 29, 2023. She was born on August 25, 1940 in Ayrshire, Scotland, to the late Alexander and Eva Waters. In addition to her parents, Alexa was preceded in death by her three sisters.

Alexa met and married Maurice O'Neal in Ayrshire, Scotland while he was serving in the Air Force in 1961. After many travels they settled down in Huber Heights, Ohio in 1974. Alexa enjoyed traveling back home to visit her family in Scotland as well as spending time with her grandkids here in the States.

Alexa is survived by her daughters: Michelle (Richard) O'Neal Oliver, Trudy Staas, and Kim O'Neal; grandchildren: Maurice Oliver, Alexa (Patrick) O'Connell, and Tyler (Shannon) Staas; great grandchildren: Vincent Staas and Henry Staas; and many other family and friends.

A gathering will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton.
