Lorena Carole Dunham

Lorena Carole Dunham, age 87 of Washington Twp., passed away Friday, September 1, 2023 at Kettering Health Main Campus. She was born May 21, 1936 in New Boston, Ohio, the daughter of the late Albert and Lucille Lutz.

In loving memory of Carole, a woman with impeccable class and style. Her shining personality and gentle soul warmed the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her. Carole had a deep affection for life's little luxuries, adorning herself in bling and surrounded by the beauty of flowers. Her love for family and friends knew no bounds. She found joy in entertaining them with her culinary talents. Her shopping trips, lunches, and movie outings were eagerly anticipated by all, a testament to the lasting impact she had on those she cherished. Carole will be dearly missed, but her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were touched by her warmth and grace.

Carole is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Mike) Hartley, Diane Myers; brother, Rick (Kim) Lutz; grandchildren, Kelly (Adam) Foglyano, Cassidy Myers; great grandchildren, Giana and Vincent Foglyano; as well as numerous loving relatives and many friends.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Dunham; sister, Alice Donley; and brother, Gary Lutz.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459). Funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Cemetery in Miamisburg, where Carole will be laid to rest with her husband.
