Bruce Davis, age 66, of Nelsonville, passed away on August 22, 2023, at his residence, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on June 28, 1957, the son of the late Jack and Rosemary Davis.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Lisa Davis; his loving children, Jason Davis, Brandy (Kenny) Clowes and Tyler Davis; several grandchildren; siblings, Clifford "Butch" (Patricia) Davis and Donna (Ralph) Sparks; and many other loving family and friends.
He served his country proudly by serving in the United State Army. Bruce worked for over 15 years with Kroger as a Butcher. He was a member of the VFW Post #657 for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar and spending time with his family and friends. Bruce had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to tell jokes. He loved to make others laugh! He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held from 2:00pm-4:00pm, on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Immediately following the Visitation at the funeral home, there will be a Fellowship Gathering at the VFW Post #657 (see address below).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VFW Post #657, 637 Spinning Rd., Dayton, OH, 45431.
