Joanna Joseph, age 73 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born November 9, 1949 in Tracy City, Tennessee the daughter of the late David and Alma Owens.
Joanna was an avid Fisherman and Pool Player. She enjoyed painting and was a cultured craftsman. She never knew a stranger. Joanna was a 5 foot tall McGuyver, a jack of all trades and lived a colorful life. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Joanna is survived by her husband of 25 years, Reason Joseph; Daughters, Lisa R. (Patrick) Whittaker and Alena A. (David) Grubbs; Great-Grandsons, Cayden M. Leis and Brayden R. Zinck; Sisters, Tammy S. Owens, Stephanie L. (Scott) Blanton; Brother, Todd E. (Tammy) Owens; and She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren; and 27 Great-Grandchildren and numerous family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Daughter, Charmin Y. Wells; and Brothers, James H. Owens, Roger D Owens.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 28th, at 12:30PM at Newcomer Funeral Home Centerville Chapel, 820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd. Dayton, OH 45459. Visitation will be from 11:30AM until the time of the service at 12:30PM. A graveside service will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
