Cyndie L. Mccue

Cynthia Lynn McCue (Brooks-McIlvain), age 64, of Dayton passed away on April 25, 2023. She was born in Dayton on May 19, 1958 to the late Glen and Cleo Brooks. In addition to her parents, Cyndie is preceded in death by her brothers, Gene Brooks, Jerry Brooks, Jim Brooks and Larry Brooks.

Cyndie is survived by her son, Richard (Kathy) McIlvain; grandsons, Bobby McIlvain, Ben McIlvain, Drew McIlvain; granddaughter, Mia McCue; brother, Tom (Carolyn) Pelphrey; sister, Wanda Lewis; sister-in-laws, Sandy Brooks, Patti Brooks, Pat Pohl, Pat Bundenthal; step-daughter, Sara (Christine) McCue; best friend, Lynne Donnell; and many other family and friends.

Cyndie attended Wilbur Wright High School in Dayton, Ohio and graduated in 1976. She was a member of the Wilbur Wright athletic Hall Of Fame. Cyndie retired from Pasco County Florida Animal Control Division. She enjoyed music and was a talented country music singer and model. She loved spending time with her grandkids, family and friends. Cyndie had a special lifelong bond with her close girlfriends; referred to as her "SISTAS". Cyndie will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Newcomer Kettering, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Memorial service will begin at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Service to be officiated by Pastor Getts.
