Sharon Ann Bauman

Sharon Ann "Sheri" Bauman, age 79, of Dayton, passed away December 27, 2022. She was born March 2, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Charles and Virginia Hollis.

Sheri is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jim Bauman; children: Kris Storts (Dave), Tony Bauman, Jennifer Bauman-Bell and Leigh Bauman (Betty Lou); 8 grandchildren: Brandon Davis (Molly), Anthony Bauman II (Lesley), Jordan Bell, Ethan Bell, Ashley Bell, Lynsae Allcox (Mike), Ericka Ducret (Ermilo) and Lucian Possehn; 9 great-grandchildren: McKenzie, Brooklyn, Mila, Henry, Brock, Trinity, James, Thomas and Emilia; brother, Wayne Hollis (Elizabeth); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Sheri was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, the YMCA at the Heights and the Huber Heights Senior Center. She enjoyed crafts, painting, playing cards and bowling. More than anything, Sheri loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, especially watching them in their sporting events.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Sheri's memory to Hospice of Dayton.
