Patricia Anne Pennycuff

Patricia Anne "Pat" Pennycuff, age 87, of Beavercreek, passed away on December 9, 2022, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Nicholas County, Kentucky, on August 10, 1935, the daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (Bowles) Buchanan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Harlan Pennycuff; and her brother, Clyde Buchanan.

Pat is survived by her loving daughter, Vickie (Damon) Curry; grandchildren, Chad Queen, Amber Hardiman, Chad (Haylee) Curry and Jennifer (Ray) Rowe; best friends, Carolyn and Brenda; her favorite nurse (who could get her to do anything), John; and other nurses, Bailey (her make-up stylist) and Carrie C. (her snuggle buddy); aides, Nikki (who named her "Pistol Pat"), Arron (who gave her special shakes), Dee and Lexie; and Affinity Hospice staff, Jill, Lisa, Rebecca and Pastor Payton.

She retired from GM Truck and Bus, after more than 20 years of employment. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping and being a social butterfly. Pat was a single mother, who devoted her life to her daughter, Vickie.

Visitation will be held from 2:00pm-3:00pm, on Friday, December 16, 2022, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where Funeral Services will begin at 3:00pm, with Pastor Anthony Payton officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at Green Acres Memory Garden in Maysville, Kentucky.

Donations may be made in Pat's honor to the Alzheimer's Association.
