David G. Bratton Sr.

David G. Bratton Sr., age 79, of Vandalia, passed away on October 21, 2022. He was born on August 30, 1943 to the late Carl and Cecil Bratton.
He enjoyed working on classic cars and hot rods. He also liked to go fishing in his free time. He was a simple man who loved his family and spending time with them. His presence will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Julia Bratton; his son, Robert Bratton; and his brother, Kenny Bratton.
He will be remembered by his son, David Bratton Jr.; his grandchildren: Jordan Bratton; a great-grandson, Raylan Bratton; his brother, Barry Bratton; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 12:30pm to 1:30pm on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 1:30pm. Following the service he will be laid to rest with his wife at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
