Carol Coder, 87, of Dayton, peacefully passed away on October 7, 2022. She was born December 20th, 1934, in Somerset, KY to the late John and Lucille (Phillippi) Lovell.
Carol graduated from West Carrollton High School in 1953. She retired from service at Montgomery County Clerk of Courts. We will remember her for her love of shopping and cooking. Carol loved the Lord and was a long-time member of Miamisburg Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Randy Coder; and a sister, Janice (Dick) Ballou.
She leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory, including her daughter, Dana (Frans) Liem; niece, Amy Byers (and son, Eric); nephews, Brian (Maria) Ballou (and sons, Alex and Grant), Chris (Kathy) Kempton (and children, Kyle and Kaitlyn) and Kevin Kempton; one special brother-in-law, Ken Kempton; and one special cousin, June (Dick) Ferguson.
The family would like to thank our Hospice nurse Lorraine for her wonderful care.
The services are being handled privately. Her final resting place will be at Dayton Memorial Park.
