Thomas J. Snyder

Thomas J. Snyder Sr., age 89, passed away June 9, 2022. He was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, on May 29, 1933 to the late Wilbur and Flora (Duke) Snyder. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Snyder; and his son, Thomas Snyder, Jr.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Doris; his children: Daniel (Gretchen) and Dennis Snyder; 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.

Thomas served for the United States Air Force, including his time during the Korean War. He retired as Chief Master Sergeant after 28 years. Thomas was also a member of the Mason's for 40 years. Thomas enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where a celebration of life will follow at 6:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Thomas to Bella Care Hospice.
