Steven D. Price, age 73 of Canton, MI, formerly of Springboro, OH, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, May 22, 2022. He was born July 5, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Melvin and Edna Price.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Ann Price; father, Melvin Price, sister, Donna Smith; and uncle, Charles Shepherd.
Steven is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Jeff) Price; granddaughter, Lauren Barnes; siblings, Kay (Chuck) Hemming, Jean (Tom) Van Winkle, Mick (Vicky) Price; as well as numerous loving relatives and friends.
Steven retired from General Motors. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, and target shooting. He also enjoyed ballroom dancing. Steven loved his family, and spent lots of quality time with his granddaughter, Lauren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459). Funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
