Linda L. Zimmerman

Linda L. Zimmerman, age 80, of Huber Heights, passed away March 11, 2022. She was born June 16, 1941 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Emmett and Mildred Wells. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, James Wells.

Linda is survived by her husband of 61 years, Pastor Charles Zimmerman; children: Chuck Zimmerman (Denise), Kim Sexton (Jim) and Sherri Winfield (Brad); 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way; sister, Doris Gaines; brother, Robert Wells (Wavalene); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Linda was a member of Huber Heights Baptist Temple, where her husband has been the Pastor for 48 years. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Linda faithfully served her Lord and was an example of a great Christian woman to all she came in contact with.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday. Pastor Larry Spencer officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. Contributions may be made in Linda's memory to Huber Heights Baptist Temple.
