Sharon F. Ryan, age 85, of Arcanum, passed away on February 25, 2022. She was born on October 1, 1936 to the late Edward and Evelyn DeLong.
She enjoyed watching nature and animal shows, but she really like to watch Wheel Of Fortune. She loved to solve crossword puzzles and enjoyed listening to music, especially gospel. She loved her children, grandchildren and siblings dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Alfred Ryan; daughter, Lisa Hartless; grandson, Floyd Hensley Jr.; brothers, David DeLong, Fred DeLong, and Charles DeLong; her sister, Norma Hester; and her infant brother, Russell DeLong.
Her memory will be cherished by her children: Kevin (Donna) Ryan, Karen (George) Lawson, Rick Ryan, Greg (Vickie) Ryan, Geoff (Melissa) Ryan, and Pam (Terry) McMillan; 29 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren; siblings Danny DeLong, Steve DeLong, Nancy Stonerock, and Kathy Blankenship; her dear friend, Yvette Roser; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, March 7, 2022 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. A second visitation will be held from 9:00am to 10:00am on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, and the funeral service will begin at 10:00am. A burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
