Anna Pearl Simmons, age 97 of Dayton, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born January 12, 1925 in Crossville, Tennessee the daughter of the late Lawrence and Martha (Tays) Reeves.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Simmons; son, Kenneth Simmons; daughter-in-law, Loraine Simmons; brothers, Paul, Billy, Ray, Earl, Burl, Robert, Clifford & Junior Reeves and sisters, Geneva Wilbanks & Christine Kilgore.
Anna is survived by her son, Vernon (Peggy) Simmons; grandchildren, Stephanie (Darryl) Koerper, Derick (Paula) Simmons & Kenneth Simmons Jr.; great grandchildren, Jakob Simmons, Zackery Fugate & Cole Fugate and numerous nieces and nephews in Tennessee and Dayton.
Anna loved to associate with others to play euchre, to cook and enjoy herself. She loved gardening, planting flowers and was an avid cat lover. More than anything else she loved her family and her relationship with Jehovah God. Anna dedicated her life to Jehovah in the early 70's and has been a faithful Jehovah's Witness and baptized sister of the Kettering Southeast Congregation. She loved to be out in the field service ministry; helping others to come to know Jehovah God.
