Paul Darrell Perdue, age 85, of Fairborn, passed away January 20, 2022. He was born March 13, 1936 in Wheatcroft, KY to the late Samuel and Willa Perdue. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him: Rolly and Alta Gasaway; wife, Mary Ann Perdue; daughters-in-law: Pamela Perdue and Betty Jean Perdue; and great-grandson, Maddox Perdue.
Paul is survived by his children: Samuel Perdue, John Perdue, Sharon (David) Cottrell, Karen (James) Jacobs, Riley (Lori) Perdue, and Paula (Darrell) Daniels; 56 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, great-great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Paul was a Pastor for over 40 years, most recently at Believer's Hope Church of God in Fairborn. He was always helping people; doing ministry at the local jails and nursing homes, really anywhere people needed him and his prayers. Paul was a hard worker; he retired as a Tool and Die Maker and worked in the nurseries for many years. He and his wife were the best parents, they always made sure their family was well taken care of.
Visitation will be held from 10:30-11:30 am on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Believer's Hope Church of God, 1810 North Blvd., Fairborn, where the funeral service will begin at 11:30 am. Burial to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road.
