Mary Margaret Ambrose

Mary Margaret Ambrose, age 78 of Xenia, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022. She was born January 9, 1944 in Spangler, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Thomas and Louise Miller.
Mary's heart was much bigger than her stature. She invested herself first into her children and family. At the age of forty-four years old, Mary graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Wright State University. Mary's whole teaching career invested into the students of Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Local Schools in areas of special needs, developmental disabilities and middle school mathematics. Her life honored the Lord Jesus in many courageous and practical ways: serving her community meals at the Caring Place, a yearlong mission in Paraguay, a mission trip to Honduras, ministering to nursing home residents, great generosity to those in need and bringing joy to all with whom she interacted. She truly enjoyed the YMCA, jogging, paragliding, skydiving, Friday pizza nights with family and listening to people's stories and friends. When with her family, her eyes lit up. Mary loved the Lord God with all her heart, mind, soul and strength.
She is preceded in death by her step-dad, Herm Goehres and sister, Donna Guyan.
Mary is survived by her soul mate, Chuck Graf; her children, Chrissy (Eric) Castle, Eric Ambrose & Stephen (Amy) Ambrose; grandchildren, Madison (Kyle) McCleary, Tyler (Hannah Conley) Castle & Erica Ambrose; siblings, Nancy (Stanley) Vitovich & Lester (Chris) Miller; best friend, Janda Bicknell and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to The Caring Place (Lutheran Church) at 287 West Main Street, Xenia, Ohio 45385 in Mary's honor.
Visitation will be Monday, January 24, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home(3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
A second visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm with a service at 5:00 pm at Xenia Church of the Nazarene (1204 W. 2nd St, Xenia, Ohio 45385).
