Joseph David Spang, "Joe Kidd," age 66 of Beavercreek, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 9, 2022. He was born November 21, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Frederick and Ruth Spang.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Ruth Spang, Mary Lou Rachlow, Fred "Sonny" Spang, and Joan Pund.
Joe is survived by his significant other, Pamela Pistoria; daughter, Heather Pistoria (Bradley Crowley) and their children, Wyatt, Westyn, and Hadley; step-daughter, Elizabeth Pistoria and her children, Cameron, Riley, and Levi; siblings, Beverly Wherle, James (Phyllis) Spang, Linda (Bob) Everidge, Rosie Lischke, Theresa (Robert) Lischke, Carolyn (Craig) Howick, Norman (Leslie) Spang, Donald (Irina) Spang, and Michael (Lisa) Spang; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Joe served his country in the United States Army. He was a union carpenter and very proud of having gone back to school and graduated at the age of 50 from Sinclair Community College with his Associate's Degree. Joe had a passion for cars, especially his most recent toy - his '66 Chevelle, the "Buckeye Bullet."
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
