David Adkins, age 62, of Huber Heights, passed away on January 14, 2022. He was born on February 16, 1959 to Sidney and Verna Adkins.
He was an avid UK Basketball fan. He loved his church and his family, especially his good friend, Jenny Curtis, and his beloved dog, Ozzy.
David was preceded in death by his parents: Sidney and Verna Adkins; and brother, Edward Adkins.
His memory will be cherished by his sister, Madelyn (Steven) Cox; nieces: Shelley (Robbie) Combs; Stacey (Joe) Munger, Anna (Curtis) Sullivan, and Stephanie (Chad) Ortego; 11 great-grand nieces and nephews; a great-great grand niece and a great-great grand nephew; as well as extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. A second visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Newcomer North Chapel, where the funeral service will begin at 1:00pm. He will be laid to rest at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens.
