Floyd "Gene" Triplett, age 73, of Dayton, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022.
Gene was born in Athens, Ohio on December 14, 1948 to the late Jacob Floyd & Frances Triplett.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years; Pat Triplett; sons, Gene (Renee) Triplett and Marc Triplett; grandchildren, Drew, Zachary, Alexandra, Abigail and Gregory; honorary grandchildren, Cash, Hank and Dottie; sisters, Katie (Bill) Shust and Marty McGill; nieces and nephews, LeeAnna, Chrissy, Jimmy, Andy, Crystal, Athena, Georgia, Ranada, Chris, Brooke, Lonnie, Billy, Mike, Brian, Jennifer and Chad; honorary nephews, Ed and Bill; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 12:30 -1:30 pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH 45424. The service will follow at 1:30 pm.
Gene will be laid to rest at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gene's memory to the Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
