Dr. R. Hoffman

Dr. Kevin R. Hoffman ran into Jesus' arms on December 29, 2021 in Dayton, Ohio at 63 years of age.
He is survived by the love of his life, best friend and wife of 44 years Michelle 'Pope' Hoffman, his children Dalynn Dowling, Josiah Hoffman, and Jeremiah Hoffman, his grandchildren; Dominick, Makayla, & Liliana Dowling, Lucas & Logan Hoffman.
It is said that whatever captivates our hearts fuels our actions. His heart was captivated by Christ first and foremost. He had a passion for ministering to the lost, broken, and hurting. He served his church family beginning at the young age of 20 years old and continued to do so until he drew his last breath. Even while fighting his battle with death, his mind was on how he could take his experience and help encourage others while struggling with disease and loss. He had a heart for missions and traveled to Brazil, Mexico, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Russia, and Africa teaching about Gods love in a practical way. He was a lifelong learner and loved teaching life skills to people deepening their relationships with the Lord and listen to Holy Sprit in their lives.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Kevin's name to Dayton Vineyard Church for missions @ DVC.life/missions. The family will split between the three special places and people where Kevin's heart was: Kenya, where he taught, Costa Rica and Guatemala (Homes of Life) and Backward Missionaries.
A Celebration of Kevin's Life will be held on Saturday, January 8th, 2022 at 10:00 am at Dayton Vineyard Church, 4051 Indian Ripple Road, Beavercreek, OH.
