Donna Marie Copas

Donna Marie Copas, age 84 of Beavercreek, OH passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Kettering Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 27, 1937 in Dayton, Ohio to Charles and Emily (Spradling) Bryant. Donna married Emory "Em" Copas on April 29, 1955 in Indiana.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Marc) Frazer; four grandchildren, Michelle (Steve) Horton, Marc (Erinn) Frazer II, Andrew and Alex Frazer; great grandchildren, Madi, Malena, Max, Taylor, Aiden and Mason; loving sister, Norma "Susie" (Paul) Estes; nieces, Jenny Bolden, and Emily West; family friend, Robbin Stichweh and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; her devoted and loving husband of nearly 65 years, Emory "Em" Copas; Son, Tom Copas; infant brother, Thomas Bryant; and cousins, Ron Kincaid and Judy Strickland.
Donna enjoyed roller skating, loved going to the movies with Em and the grandkids and playing cards with Ron and Sue. She was a dedicated mother, homemaker and caregiver for her son Tom for 19 years. Donna loved her grandchildren and spent countless hours at Kings Island and the Zoo sharing the fun and joy with them. She worked for Miracle Ear/Accurate Hearing in Shiloh on North Main Street for
several years. Donna was a member of Belmont United Methodist Church and loved her Sunday School class. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
The family would like to thank the staff of Trinity Community for their loving care, with special thanks to Nurse Kathy Woodside, Kim, Crystal, Elvera and many others. A special thanks is extended to Ton for caring for both Donna and Em over the years, to Yvator Harrell for her care with Donna as well and too many others to list and you know who you are.
Memorial contributions can be made in Donna's name to American Heart Association, Arthritis Foundation or the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
