Matthew J. Pettit, age 33 of Fairborn, OH passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Soin Medical Center. He was born December 30, 1987 in Xenia, Ohio to Bradley Pettit and Sherri (Dagnan) Pittman.
Matt attended Fairborn High School and worked as a Lead Tech for Team Fishel. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his girls. Matt enjoyed fishing, watching the Cincinnati Bengals and walking the family dogs. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Matt is survived by his two daughters, Olivia and Audrey Pettit; his parents, Bradley (Marti) Pettit and Sherri (Dewayne) Pittman; a sister, Brandi Boone; his grandmothers, Christine Dagnan and Martha VanOss; nephews, Austin Boone and Kowen Vargas; a niece, Angel Boone; and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Dagnan and Chester Hicks.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at First Church of God Tabernacle, 1635 Montgomery Avenue, , Fairborn, Ohio. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 11:00 am at First Church of God Tabernacle. Matt will be laid to rest following the services at Byron Cemetery in Fairborn, OH.
